Product Description

This UV LED flashlight is custom made for Way Too Cool, LLC. Because of my patent, the manufacturer has agreed that I am the exclusive distributor of this product in the USA.

This flashlight offers filtered UV light at an excellent value. UV flashlights are a favorite among fluorescent gem, rock and mineral collectors for their portable size and ease of use. They can also be used for other purposes such as currency inspection, scorpion hunting, checking for pet stains, and other uses around the home.

SAFETY WARNING

The LED is a Class 3B LED hazard. Do NOT look directly into the beam of the flashlight and do not point it towards any eyes.

The Ergonomic Knurling Pattern offers a comfortable, secure grip in your hand. The flashlight has an ON/OFF Click switch on the body (tube), and it has a Wrist Strap. Dimensions: 6 1/8" long x 1 1/4" diameter. Weight is about 3.6 ounces (102 grams) w/o the battery.

Battery and Charging Information

The WTC Handheld UV Flashlight will operate with three (3) AAA batteries using the included holder. The light will also operate on a single 18650 lithium rechargeable battery. Lithium batteries offer the longest runtime. Using a single 18650 Li-ION battery rated from 2,500 - 3,000 mA, the flashlight provides up to an hour of use on a charge. The batteries will arrive discharged because of postal regulations and the batteries should be charged prior to use. Please be aware that some manufacturers claim that their 18650 batteries are rated for up to 9,000 mA and that any value over 3,500 mA should be carefully investigated for accuracy.
